Saturday Brag

I just had to take this opportunity to tell you about my supermarket savings the other day! It wasn’t the best shopping trip ever, in terms of my total savings, but it certainly was close. I paid, out of pocket, $100.03 for this week’s groceries. Between manufacturer’s coupons, store sales, the “canvas bag refund” and a special 10% off bonus coupon, my savings total was $80.31. This means that if I had gone in there and paid full price for everything in my cart, I’d have spent $180.34.

Genuardi’s: Week of 10/9/09

I skipped Genuardi’s last week because I have been so frustrated with them lately (although I don’t know how that is really possible, since I haven’t set foot in one in months…so I guess I am frustrated with them “in theory”) . But I am hearing that some of the stores have been relaxing the newer uber-restrictive coupon policies and allowing the stacking of a Genuardi’s coupon with a manufacturers coupon and doubling unlimited coupons.
